Notes for authors
Conference language
Please note that, with few exceptions, the conference language is English and you are requested to submit your abstract in English.

Abstract submission and design
Submit your abstract exclusively online via our congress portal. When you submit your abstract, you will receive an e-mail with your reference code, which must be included in further correspondence. After the decision of the scientific committee, we will inform you whether your contribution will be accepted or rededicated as a poster.​
Abstracts are accepted in PDF format. Would you also like to submit graphics? Please integrate them directly into your abstract. Please note the long transmission times for large files. Files should not be larger than 10 MB.
The scientific committee will not make any revisions or corrections to your abstract. It is therefore important for the presentation of all abstracts to comply with the specified guidelines

​Registration for the congress
The submission of an abstract does not count as registration for the congress. Please register separately via online registration or the personalized link that may have been sent to you.

Presentation design
Please prepare your presentation as MS Office 2019 document (.ppt, .pptx), in 16:9 format, and use one of the following fonts: Arial, Times New Roman, Symbol, Courier New. Please note that only PowerPoint presentations and PDF presentations are possible. If you want to present a video, please embed it directly into your presentation to avoid dependence on the Internet!

On-site presentation delivery
You have the possibility to hand in your presentation before the session starts (at least 1 hour before) at the presentation drop-off, preferably on a USB stick, or to upload it in the upload area. All important information as well as the upload area can be found here.
The presentation drop-off is located in the entrance area of the KONGRESSHALLE and is open at the following times:

Monday, 09/04/2023 08:00 a.m. - 06:00 p.m.
Tuesday, 09/05/2023 08:00 a.m. - 05:00 p.m.
Wednesday, 09/06/2023 08:00 a.m. - 02:00 p.m.

The use of own notebooks is not intended.
​Poster design, mounting and removal
Please design your poster in DIN A0 (portrait format).
The posters can be mount on Monday, 09/04/2023 from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Material for attachment is available at the Poster Info Point.
The removal will take place on Wednesday, 09/06/2023, 02:10 p.m. - 04:00 p.m. Posters that have not been taken down by the specified time will not be kept and sent, but disposed of.

The poster info point is located in the entrance area of the KONGRESSHALLE and is open for you at the following times:

Publication
All accepted abstracts will be made available for viewing and downloading on the congress website. Please note that your abstract will be published as submitted and no corrections will be made. If necessary, the organizer reserves the right to exclude erroneous abstracts from publication without consultation.

Poster session
The poster session will take place on Monday, 09/04/2023 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. We ask all poster authors to be at their poster during this time or to send a representative.
